WHOOHOOHOO. went ice-skating yesterday!! with yanrong, jialing, wanlin. =DDD
so fun!! i want to go again next time!! (:

some people there can skate so well lor. there was one uncle who went cruising around the rink with his hands behind his back and seemingly admiring the scenery, and sometimes using his handphone as well.
then there were the people who goes zooming in and out of the crowds and always seeming to not fall when they seem to be falling. HAHA. go figure bah. =)
and even though there are the beginner ones (like us), it's pretty horrifying to see them fall flat on their butts too.
so it's not nice both ways!! but i still like. :)

and it's quite nice to fall on ur butt too! heheh. xD

then we went to sun plaza after that, and OH OH OH OH OH i borrowed so many books! and then adding them to the already gigantic pile at home, u get... THIS:

anyway... about my job!! (: i earned $15 worx!! =D actually it's supposed to be lesser, but the guys said it was the first day and so must encourage us.
the two guys are so nice!! nice until u dont want to quit one!! :DD

#3: When the person says ni2 hao3 to you, say bu4 hao3 and slam the door shut. (yongmei's unfortunate fate!! HAHAHAHAHA!)

the next day we went to orchard to try, and not a single soul bought from us lor! got so much money buy prada/chanel/gucci no money buy christmas cards 1/10000 of the price! LOL.

aiya anyway we spent most of the time shopping (=X) when we realised how cruel the people are. must be our retribution for our ill treatment of salespeople in the past. HAHAHA.

and then we decided to try our luck at fast food restaurants and see if they will employ us. we didnt think we would succeed since there wasnt any poster or anything, so when longjohn told us they need people we were so surprised!
got what gou2 shi3 yun4 following us ah? LOL.

but the person didnt call us back leh. =(
we also tried burger king, yoshinoya, pastamania. all cannot. =(

and...CO today wasnt nice. i hate that song. and that sibiantai wanglaoshi. >.<

I FOUND A JOB!!

yahoo!! =DD door-to-door selling xmas cards job. job category: irritating salespersons. LOL.

yongmei and i first went down to TPY on thursday for the walk-in interview at pizza hut, but we were told that they do not need any more employees. -.- their poster is still pasted up there loh!
they must have wu4 dao3-ed many people like us and shattered their weak little hearts. so mean right!

HAHA. but! we have a backup plan! (: we sat down in KFC with cheese fries and began dialling numbers that yongmei got from a newspaper for jobs.
ALL FAILED LAH! >.<>LOL.
there must be lots of despos like us in singapore. imagine such a small red dot filled with despos! horrifying. HAHAHA.

there was one advertisement asking for ye4 wu4 yuan2(s). they sound pretty despo since they say many wanted, and we thought we had a chance.
so...we called the person even though we havent a single idea what ye4 wu4 yuan2(s) are. hahas...
then when i asked him the age limit, he said: there's no age limit! which made me so happy and i happily asked him what ye4 wu4 yuan2(s) do, causing ym to laugh until she almost fell over. LOL LOL LOL!
anyway, he told me it's people who tries to persuade companies to invest in their companies and if they succeed the company will pay them money. LOL!! and then he eagerly asked me if i was interested. i managed a "no" before bursting into laughter and hanging up the phone after a quick bye.
HAHAHAHAHA!! so funny! and we wasted his precious time, and phone bill! lols.

many of the people very rude one leh. before u finish speaking they will cut u off and ask u how old u are and most of the time the people who do that wont let u work for them because u are too young. -.-

but the main point is we got our job!! but stm says her jiejie walk the whole block not a single soul bought from her, which is so demoralising and discouraging! damn u stm! lol.
aiya, if the first day is like that then we quit and find another job loh! =))

thursday night was the CO farewell party for the seniors. had bbq and prize presentation. haha... the greatest part was the food, of course. xD and jingyee loved the present from ym and me! (:

a small cough and it gets so much attention, and wastes so much money, and doesnt do any good still! wth.

the most scheming, and horrifying things, are those that cannot be seen, but creeps up on you secretly, and tortures you maniaclly. si3 jian4 huo4 !!

ANYWAY, i now look forward to C.O practices! (: know why?? cos ---miracle of miracles--- wanglaoshi has taken pity on poor little me(AHEM) and decided to let me play the erhu for the other SYF song!! which is.... YIPPEE YAY YAY!! =DD
though i rather feel sorry for the kelian and innocent guzheng player who has to take over my role of deafening every soul in CO, albeit only for one song.
she's not from this CCA de lor! and just because she has agreed to play the guzheng for us during the syf, she needs to have this horrible fate bestowed on her, which is so yuan wang and ke lian! hai.
but..the main point is that i got to play the erhu again, for one song that is! WHOOHOO! =))

yesterday at C.O (whoo!), ym and i were writing down lovebirds for 3Endurance 2007 (haha!) on a piece of paper since we had already been big-eyed-glared-at and then scolded for talking so much many times by wanglaoshi.
then...since he could no longer stand our continuous chatter, and now handwritten gossip, he came over and attempted to see what we were writing that were making us laugh so much...
and when i said "u wont understand de lah" (cos it's mostly in english), he gave me an indignant look and said: "wei4 shen3 me4 wo3 kan4 bu4 dong3!" in his deep china accent. HAHA! x)
getting cuter, is he? =X

oh yeah, the 1E chalet is booked!! YAHOO! i cant wait i cant wait! (: at coasta sands in pasir ris! this time round, i must see the sunrise.....after two failed attempts!

and...farewell party on thursday! =) not sure whether my senior is going, we are going to give her her present which took us quite a lot of time and effort to prepare(remember how me and ym used to go to bishan park to pick saga seeds?). hope she comes! (:
but the part i am looking forward to is the....bah, food lah! hehe. and some photo-taking! =D

yesterday's newsfront: in a hit-and-run accident which killed an old lady, the murderer fled from the scene upon the incident, but (the catch!) his car template(che1 pai2) dropped onto the road because of the impact, and hence he was caught.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! how funny is that! LOL LOL.
k lah. i should actually feel sad and mourn for the death of the old lady, but it is just so amusing!! HAHA!

anyway.. went to school yesterday to make presents for the seniors for the farewell party(next thursday! :D)
the original idea was a total disaster and then we had to improvise with a more expensive but way easier idea.
after our work was done and we still had time left, we began slacking around and fooling with the leftover materials and come up with our own creations for ourselves!

then...WANLIN, yanrong and i went to find WANLIN (told u it's weird), and then when we were taking the escalator, halfway up the escalator it turned into a roller coaster...broken one!! thereby throwing me into the air and crashing to the ground..then i woke up.
SO FRIGHTENING!! >.<>

developed the china photos.. $60plus leh! wah.. then the photos could fill 5 small albums! going to buy a big one to store all together.. =)

I LIKE THE HOLIDAYS. (:
wow. cant believe i said that, when just a few weeks ago i was so sure that i would hate the hols to the core. (hey, it rhymes!) HAHAHA.

holidays!... (oh, what a nice-sounding name). haha..whatever.
...means that every day, u do not have to compete with the sun and see who rises up the horizon/out of bed earlier. OH NO U DONT. nobody would care if u lose the match by...erm, 10 hours! so cool, huh? LOL.

...means that you do not have to be burdened by the stress of exams!
when the textbooks come and u want to do some revising, u do not have to worry about memorising/forgetting/scoring anymore. u just have to (with pleasure) digest the information, and perhaps not worry about where it ends up. =)
even cooler, huh?

...means that i can spend most of my time relaxing, and doing whatever that i like knowing that i have all the time in the world.
getting to spend so much time lazing around/chatting with my mummie:), using the comp, lying in my bedroom and thinking "life's so great", blahblahblah. SO COOL LEH! :DD

..means that i can look forward to outings and gatherings with my friends! YAY!

my cough still never go away!! =( spent $50 (freaking expensive!) to go see a doctor, and he gave me like, so little medicine that i finished them in 3 days. >.< ...with the cough having no sign of wanting to leave me. -.- (i'm too nice! xD)

anyway..for the previous post, i realised that i missed out on a lot of things for the sixth day. i think i typed it, but accidentally deleted the part.

we rode on the sanlunche, so fun! ours almost banged into a car which appeared out of nowhere. luckily the driver(the sanlunche one) swerved in time. WHEW.
also had the boat ride, which wasnt very fun.

then came XIU SHUI DA SHA!! =DD been waiting for it for so long!
it was so shuang bargaining with the shopkeepers, especially when u got ur way. (:
i bought one $280 jacket for $65! yongmei and i haggered it down. LOL. we bought the same jacket, just of different colours.
but some shopkeepers are so freaking irritating and unreasonable. if u dont buy from them, they would scream and shout at you to come back. when u dont, they would scold u for wasting their time.
please lah. u should pay us for entertaining u when you have no customers ok. lol.

CHINA TRIP!! ohman~ i had such a great time there! (:(:(:(:(:

many things to write! dont say i didnt warn u.

FIRST DAY
tried out many of my firsts!
first time checking in luggage and seeing how much it weighs, first time passing through the customs and looking at the dubious expressions on the officers' faces when they see my passport photo and the live me, FIRST TIME RIDING IN AN AEROPLANE!!

the clouds are so nice! it's as if you have stepped into heaven and is travelling through it! seriously!! and..the clouds form images by themselves, giving u the mirage of seeing rivers and trees when they are actually clouds! whoa. :D

i lost my passport on the first day too! it was so horrifying when i realised it. luckily it was found on the bus by the tour guide the next day.
honglaoshi thought that i wasnt worried about it when i was, and i think she told a lot of people including the tour guide. and she told my mum too, but my mum knows that i WAS worried. (:

SECOND DAY
we went to visit the village school, and i read to one of the students. he's so cute!! after i finished reading two stories to him, he read to me jokes from a joke book he had. so funny and lame those jokes! LOL.

after that we took the bus to tianjin. a 3hrs ride! when we reached there it was like..PHEW. lol. we went to the food street, which wasnt a street at all. -.- it was like a shopping centre, and even though there were many shops selling food, the stalls in the middle selling souvenirs totally stealt the limelight.

then it was to the tianjin kind hotel (lol i am always amused by the name) which was so much more grander and nicer than the beijing century GRAND hotel.
since we could only have 2 to a room there, i was roomed in with yanrong, and we took lots of lame and stupid zilian pics there. like...using the teacup lids as cymbals(me) and putting the lid on ur head and acting cute(yanrong). LOL! hahahaaa.

THIRD DAY
went to visit school again. but this time round the school was a ming2xiao4, and had all those facilities that you would never imagine in a school, like a TELESCOPE. seriously. when my mum saw the photo she asked if i went to visit an astronomy centre. hahahaa..

then we went to the ancient cultural street! omgosh i love that place man! they sell all kinds of cultural stuffs, and at very cheap prices!! you wouldnt even remember to bargain, the things are so cheap, and you would feel guilty if you were to bargain.
bought lots and lots of stuffs!! (:

then the 3hrs ride back to tianjin again. HAI. but this time round it wasnt that bad cos during most of the trip we kept chatting and laughing with the boys. it was so funny!! :DD

at night it was back to the GRAND hotel again. but i love the fun times we had at the hotel! the 3 of us (yanrong,wanlin,me) kept cracking lame jokes, and crapping away, and then laughing our heads off. SO SO FUNNY! OH HAWHAWHAW!!
oh yeah! because we found so many things to complain about in the hotel room, we wrote out a whole list of 8 complaints on the pad of paper in the room for the cleaning people to see..and.. one of them is: the lampshade is wai1. (tipped to a side). LOL.

anw..when the person ignored us the first day and removed our paper, we then wrote out 4 sheets of the same complaints on the pad, so that if the person tore off the first sheet, there would still be another..and another..and another! LOL.
and guess what? the oh-so-very-nice cleaning person replied us!
her attitude was so great, she took the time to check every single complaint, and gave us answers to all 8 of them, and even thanked us for telling her! omgosh!! we were so shocked lah!
who would expect the people to take us seriously? and some of our complaints(esp the aforementioned one) were so lame! so embarrassing leh! :PP

FOURTH DAY
first it was to the marco polo bridge. took many photos, and then to the boring japanese war museum.
but it was on this day that we finally experienced the cold when the great wind started blowing, and it felt as if the wind was carrying us whenever we were walking. SHUANG!!
then to the tian1 tan2, chinese temple for the ancient kings to pray, super big place. and then to the jewellery-making factory.
at night we watched the beijing acrobatics performance. the tour guide treated us to popcorn!! :DD
then hotel time again! =))

FIFTH DAY
...THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA!!*
after painstakingly climbing up the high and low, flat and protruding steps, we finally reached the first level. took many photos on...THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA!*it's a great deal if you have climbed...THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA* ok! (:

the tour guide says there's a chinese saying:
GO TO BEIJING:
bu4 pa2 chang2 cheng2 fei1 hao3 han4, bu4 chi1 kao3 ya1 hen3 yi2 han.
so... we are heroes with no regrets! YAY!! xD
i got a hero card with my photo on it and my name on it, proclaiming that i have climbed....THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA!*
so..now u shall worship me for i am a hero! :DD

*sorry, i feel it necessary to emphasise this great miracle of the ancient chinese. :D

then it was to a palace called ying2 he2 yuan2, and then a tasting tea session.
at night it was time for the book city! mygosh, there are so many books there, and what's more, they are so cheap!! a chinese novel costs 3 to 5 dollars only!
had a great time scouring for cheap and good buys. HEHE. actually being aunty comes in useful sometimes. (:

SIXTH DAY
went to visit a school AGAIN. >.<>LOL.
bought many other things too!

at night we called for room service. when i dialled the number and asked for spaghetti bolognese, the person on the other end said: ning2 zai4 shuo1 hua2 yu3 ma1? HAHAHAHA!! lol lame.
the day before we asked for room service and the person directed us to HOUSEKEEPING. -.- when wanlin asked the person for other dishes( she said cai4, chinese for dishes), the person replied: sorry, this is housekeeping, there are no vegetables.
omgosh! LOL LOL!! super funny lah! hahahaaa..

LAST DAY
the most boring day of all. we visited the forbidden city which was nothing fascinating, and ate roasted duck which was nothing fascinating too. went to other boring places and a street resembling orchard road.
at one place zongqin took a picture of terence kissing mao ze dong, SO CUTE AND FUNNY!! ( i will post the pic up in the next post)
ON THE BUS:
(to understand this u must first understand that zongqin and terence are gay lovers who's always "kissing" during the china trip)

me: terence u also chu1 kui3 lor, u kissed mao ze dong leh.
LOL LOL.
THEN IT WAS TIME TO GO HOME!! :DD
during the last few days i had started missing singapore and my mummie, so it was great to be able to go home in 6 hours.

i love the trip!! will forever remember it!! (:

p/s: yongmei is totally different in singapore and china. in china, she morphed into a super zilian person, and knows all sorts of poses when taking photos! what an eye-opener for me. whoa.

pp/s: aunties, if u want to find paradise on earth, china is the place. HEHE.

ppp/s: the burning interest that i had for zhoulaoshi before is now diminished, because i have fallen in love with the oh-so-very-nice-and-friendly tour guide!! =DD
