its another weekend here again!
would like to blog about last weekend first. longg weekend which was heartwarming, each day spent with a different group of people.
friday, with the school, and with the childhood gang. catching up and being in each other's company is something we've not done for long already!
saturday, with the nation in singapore's birthday! hahaha..
then sunday, xinru's birthday, with family. loves and blessings.
monday was cg's surprise celebration, with friends once again.
so it was a weekend with friends and family! so it was a weekend of loves (:
sunday first! being with my relatives and family always makes me understand how simple happiness can be. by the smallest things, smallest of actions.
there was those kind of big big tunnels etc thing you find at KidsExplorer there!
this means i havent been on one since a good many years back.
which means i got damn excited at the sight of it.
which means i got even more excited when my niece asked if i wanted to play. i was hoping she'd say that! :D
so up we went, partners in crime.
i was so horrified when it came to the part where there were straps crisscrossed together that you have to climb over luh!
with all the holes there, when the physics theory sets in your head, where you know that pressure is the force over area which is now minimised, gosh. images of me crashing down the whole thing kept flitting through my mind. *shudders*
doesnt help that all my niece does is to laugh at me. hmmph.
i hope she grows up to become a happy and beautiful girl. (:
bian's surprise celebration!

(jeanette left early)
got pretty excited at the all the clothes i was seeing before going over to marina square. HAHA.
we went over to have YukiYaki! tinting was the main crime partner to bring cg into the scene of crime.
cg was brought in, and despite the fact that tinting just walked in without any waiter bringing her in (or shooing her out), her face was expressionless!
then when she saw us, it became =O! hahahaa :P
me: wah.. all the hei ren in the usa team damn handsome luh!
cg: then you ask yc shai hei lah, then he'll become very handsome!
yc: funny arh funny.
HAHAHAHA.
yc: u want to eat?
jl: yes.
yc: WOW! jl you talked to me!!!!! *claps in bird like fashion which includes moving your hand up fortyfive degrees to your left as you clap*
lmao. so they stopped their war after that. HAHAHA.
had many laughs over the steamboat. :D they cooked a piece of rolledup tissue, and it looked damn like meat luh! sadists. *shudders*
tried feeding it to the neighbouring table but they refused. oh well. their loss. cooked tissue should taste nice. HAHAHA.
and take a look at this.

it's all used by tanchiagek! gosh can.
then had DIY icecream which involves pouring a cup of liquid onto some pan and letting it solidify by itself.
which means you have to use half of your life's energy prying away at it before you can eat.
we believed at first.
neighbouring table: "eh omg! each cup is $2 leh! you have only one free cup! how many you all take?"
us: "oh my. we each took two leh!"
neighbouring table: "ohman how how how! we have to pay so much leh!" and they continue on and on...
then we decided we didnt believe after all.
so we decided to prove that we didnt believe them.
we used the chance when a waiter arrived between our tables.
us: "erm, excuse me, is the ice cream free flow?"
waiter: "yes, of course it's free flow."
us: *tuning up our voices by about 3 decibels* "wah! it's FREEEE FLOWW leh! NOT two dollars per cup lehhhhh!"
hahahahaaa..
went up to the rooftop afterwards to piece the puzzle together. almost got it completed :D

cool isnt it? =D
yesterday was jack's place with cg ym clara to celebrate her birthday. HAPPY SIXTEEN, BIAN! hope you liked your presents! :D
and, happy six months. (:

i realise i've fallen in love with pink sunsets.
so beautiful, so romantic. different hues of pink, painting the vast sky. they can melt me so much more than the usual orange ones.
Pursell, Colorado

Millers landing, Alaska
so pretty, aren't they? i hope i'll get to see a pink sunset of my own. (:
reflections. so many things that require them.

YO EVERYBODY!! weelijia is back from her occasional hiatus again! sorry if fans of my blog have been disappointed by my lack of posts. HAHAHA. xD
there's this long long weekend ahead of us, all thanks to the clashing of aug9 with a saturday, which in turn, can be grateful to the leap day this year. so my point is, we have a long long weekend to enjoy now! YEEHA! =D
before i start my post, with respect to the traditions of yours truly, i shall make an important greeting. HAPPY 43RD BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE!! i love you lots and lots (:
i think my favourite minister is stil goh chok tong. i dont know why, but he appeals to me more than lee kuan yew. hmm.
mmm.... just went out to grab some biscuits back. marvellous~ :P
anyway yeah! so today is NATIONAL DAY! such a long time has passed since the last one. 1 year 1 day before it was the phs carnival. can still remember sitting there selling tickets, moving around playing the games and eating the food, and watching the concert at night.
some feelings never do fade..
watched the ndp parade. the front part with all the marching and the planes were damn cool luh! the commander was so cool, with his damn macho voice and his mouth which always seems to go :O when he's shouting. LOL.
can fit two dumplings! hahahaa..

joan went to the washroom! LOL.
there she is! clockwise from left: eleanor, stm, me, boonkee, simin, shimin, marilyn, joan! :D
and that's us! =D
honours's night at night! didnt get our prizes onstage because i was late T_T ahh never mind. we got it afterwards anyway.

the guest of honour was an ex-olympic silver-medal winner as a sprinter. got us laughing throughout his speech.
he said he married his wife regardless of race, language, or religion.
HAHAHA. thats because he's a malay and his wife's a chinese!
he told us something which he achieved, or showed us a photo i think. cant really remember. and all of us went wahhh, and clapped.
and he went, "i thought you'd be impressed. i was impressed too." LOL.
he's sixty plus years old already, and his wife was there too!
