i'll DEFINITELY elaborate on this if i update tonight. the issue of time passing quickly has always been a forte in my blogging career after all.

and i HAVEN'T MADE MY RESOLUTIONS YET! double :O
actually i don't know whether you should make them when the new year intrusively screams a big hello in your face, or before that. but i just know i always make it before, so this year shall not be an exception!

anyway i'm going out for lunch at Xin Wang Restaurant at northpoint later on with my AHNG, COUSIN, AND XINRU!!
yay i am so looking forward :D

we wanted to go to crystal jade originally but plans changed. i've been craving for the very very nice pi dan shou rou zhou from there since yesterday night but never mind lah, xin wang should be nice too!
the only problem is i can't really crave for the food there since i don't know how they taste like yet.

porridge noodles etc are not like oysters clams etc where you can crave for them even if you've NEVER had them before, and you don't need to care where you're gonna eat them at, since ultimately they'd taste almost the same anyway, although strictly speaking that's not true lah, but well lol.

but that's different for porridges etc so i don't know what to expect for later!

i can't believe i've dedicated so many lines to food. aiya i just wanted to say i'm looking forward to later, which is coming soon!

i had only three hours of sleep can you believe it. because stellie songie and i had another of our lasting-from-midnight-to-morning-long-long-calls.
i think it lasted like almost four hours lah! LOL LOL.

long time since we've had our longlong morning calls! the last time was during those lags between one exam and another i think.

there was a day we chatted till 4am and then i woke up at around 6 for school! gosh and i didn't feel very tired and i think that day wolfie and i were both late and we ended up didn't going to school even though we already were at yck. (since there were not much lessons that day too!)

today is the FOURTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS! so we still have eight more days to go! er. should be lah.. i think there're twelve days of christmas.

i've been going around asking people "how many days are there in christmas arh?" and i finally got my answer yesterday!

talking to peien on msn now and she's telling me that friday's school reopening. i suddenly envy all the juniors quite alot. although they'll be facing o levels, but they'll be going back to a familiar place in the new year.. while we have to worry about a whole new environment and strangers in the corridors instead of friends you've known for years.

spent a happy christmas at orchard with my mummy! ^^

went there in the late afternoon, and realised they've sealed off part of a road, so instead of the normal cars that we see every day, they replaced them with HUA CHE(s)!
i took some pictures lah, but quite lazy to upload them. anyway i took them in the afternoon so they dun exude that kind of xmasy feel. hahaha..

but of course, they still managed to awe me, which is to say they're much better than the chinese new year ones which i saw this year.

had dinner at a big foodcourt tucked in a i-thought-nobody-could-find-but-many-people-are-there place. we walked so very long all the way from orchard mrt! i think we would have reached dhobby ghaut if we continued the journey.
i finally had watermelon and honeydew sago after days of craving for it! (i crave for food every single day by the way. i wonder how i'd have to suffer the day i get pregnant.)

me: eeeee the sago are BLUE de!
mum: blue jiu blue lah haiyo so da jing xiao guai.

mum: eh dun keep eating those yi li yi li de, eat the fruits!!
hahahaa mummy jiu shi mummy. HAHAHA.

then continued walking along the streets, taking many photos, watching abit of the concert and a carolling group, and of course shopped a little too!
and of course, needless to say, being jostled by the very very big crowd.

HAPPY TIME WITH MY DEAREST MUMMY! i really believe she's one of the greatest mums in the world, sincerely. the fact that she can put up with me already tells alot. really. =P

spent christmas eve with yongmei and clara at northpoint and amk, then met cg because she wanted to pass us our presents.

i felt so guilty because the three of them prepared gifts and i got them nothing! i must quickly earn my money~~ coffeee bean let me hear newwwws soon T.T

anyway i went swimming on tuesday! i think the last time i went was all the way back in january, so it's been almost a year already.

the water felt great!! swam many laps (i'm very slow although i got a gold cert already boohoo), and played in the water!

I LOVE THE SWIMMING POOL! ^^

since we stayed in the pool for more than two hours and was quite tired afterwards, went to the hawker and had a sumptous (most importantly, cheap) meal!
duck rice, chicken chop, fried wanton. oh and grass power and ice lemon tea. HAHAHA.
food makes me :D :D :D

and since we didnt really want to move away from that cooling and foody place, we si lai zhe bu zou, and stayed to watch xiao niang re! in that episode the girl was raped :O

WE FOUND OUR JOB! :D

its at coffee bean in paragon. although the pay is not very high ( 4 per hour ), but wolfie and me both look forward to it!

it's embarrassing to admit this, but one of the things i'm most looking forward to working there is being able to wear xmas hats on the job.

HAHA!

i've been seeing so many pictures on friendster with people wearing xmas hats to jobs since a good few years back that i've been dreaming about it myself. so now my dream's gonna be fulfilled very soon!
few dreams ever get fulfilled in life, so congrats to me! =D

but of course, the coffee smell and the atmosphere, environment, and seemingly-friendly people there entice me too.
working in a cafe in town really appeals to me alot.

i'm abit scared about the injection! its called thy-something i cant remember it. it'll cost around 20plus but we'll get the money back after we complete our training at intervals during the job.

it's been really really long since i've had my last injection! like 4 years i think :O now i finally find one good thing about my gain of weight T.T
i'll have the ever-annoying fats to protect me! :D

got to get black pants and black shoes, but i can wear my mum's black shoes although they're kinda tight-fitting. YES my feet are bigger than my mum's ok! no wonder when mr tan was teaching toa ka sou last year i was called out as the example by someone. T.T

the asst manager who interviewed us seemed nice. i know first looks deceive but that's the impression he gave me, and then some of the other people there seemed fun too.

there was a guy who needed to wear REINDEER EARS! :O :O i hope i won't have to wear that. traditional homely christmas hats will do :D

anw next time i'll be able to add making coffee to my short list of foods i can prepare. the only item there on the list is cooking maggie mee. HEH.

anyway, wolfie and i went to his cousin's GIGANTIC FOUR-storey bungalow after our stupid door-to-door flyer distribution job. i shall not go into that. jl told me it was a scammer job.

the worst thing is we cant get our pay because the min number of days we have to work first is 6, and now that we've got this job there's really not much point in continuing with it.
so we cant get the tendollars that we supposedly earned :(

aiya anyway. it was really very big lah! with a swimming pool, movie room, dance room, rooftop etc etc. and then the chandelier there was like FOUR layered de can!

i was already impressed and awed the first time i stepped into stella's house seven years ago and saw the one-layered chandelier there, so seven years later i was treated to four times the impression and awe.
actually it shouldnt be as much as four times lah, since u really have got to minus away the suagu-ness seven years back :D

[ i just watched a part of jaychou's live concert 2007 and omg i love him even more right now. he can melt my heart when he sings! awwwwwwwwwwww.. ]

OKAY ANYWAY. it was pretty fun there!
ate, ( i downed four cups of guava juice the moment i got there because i was so damned thirsty from the damned job and we had finished all of our water and refuse to buy anymore because ZUAN QIAN XIN KU! hahaha. ), explored his house which never ceased to make me :O no matter where i turned, watched wolfie and some guys there play cards, and then all of us sat down to play bingo which his cousin arranged for us.

i didnt win! =( it's been long since i've gotten lucky at this kind of thing other than the lucky draw during prom night. but that was just a really small prize anyway. BOOHOO.

and his cousin is a hilarious guy hahaha :D and he's got two very cute dogs called strawberry and happy. i like happy!! =D

went out for dinner and lots of catching up with cg ym clara on sunday at j8. it's been long since the four of us gathered together the last time!

and so, we had LOTS of catching up to do! spent more than three hours chatting, gossiping, and laughing half the way through. it felt really great!

there were so many ridiculous jokes and things we talked about and we all laughed away together which we havent done for very long.

talked about jc and abit of o levels too, for which both i havent really been thinking about much ever since holidays started, and it felt weird to be reminded of them again.
puts a flutter in my heart. feels like trepidation about next year, of getting results, going to a new school and making new friends.

i thought i would be ok with leaving old friends behind because the friendships wouldnt really change since we're mature enough. (hopefully!)
but it started to dawn on me how it'd feel not to be able to see everyone so frequently anymore, how life would be quite different actually.
i dont want it to :( i think i'll miss the days in phs terribly soon.

oh well. as they say, life's like that. where did i here it from it sounds so familiar seriously i cant recall! LOL!

i might be going back to phs tmr to watch my niece play volleyball there (their school's going to be using our court these few days).
i look forward to going back into the pink school! i think none of my friends share this enthusiasm of mine T.T hahahaa..

and i look forward to seeing my niece! i miss her!

it's over already. although sometimes the sadness and pain still emerge once again, we know it might probably be for the best for him.

we went through the last few days together, and bade farewell as a whole.
made me realise how glad i am to have such strong ties with family and relatives, how lucky i am to have people so close to my heart without even needing to work for it.

kinship can never be expressed fully in words. something so sacred, and something we must treasure alot and alot.

we'll all wish for the best, let go and move on soon.
